Armed Drill Team

 

During the school year, the drill team will practice from 0700 to 0902 (the end of first period). Members of the team must have 1st-period Armed Drill as an elective in their schedule. The counselors will assist with any change you may need in your schedule. Experienced cadets will train new cadets on proper spin techniques. The team typically participates in 6 drill meets during the school year and with each drill meet, our cadets earn their spot to compete. No spots are permanent and everyone is given an equal opportunity for every competition.

The team attends many events having performed at the Capitol in Austin and at the commissioning ceremony of the USS Fort Worth. Their hard work and persistence yield amazing results time and time again. Such an effort allows them to have exhilarating experiences both while traveling and competing.
