Three Spirit of Joshua Band students have earned a place on the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) 5A All-State Band!
Join us in congratulating Joey Buhl (Alto Saxophone), Stetson Turnbeaugh (Cornet/Trumpet) and Shane Waits (Contra-Bass Clarinet)!
The audition process comprises 70,000 students who enter the TMEA All-State competitive process. About 1,875 students are selected to perform in 18 All-State ensembles.
These amazing students will participate in the TMEA Clinic/Convention, between February 12–15. This is the nation’s largest music educators convention with more than 30,000 people from Texas and across the world in attendance.
Shout out to Riley Husch (Clarinet) and Lucas Hutto (Bassoon) who also represent JISD well at the Area auditions.
