At their September 15 regular meeting, the Joshua ISD Board of Trustees recognized members of the JISD family.

The Board recognized former Joshua ISD Education Foundation Board President, Jeff Pool, for his 16 years of service to the Foundation. Since its inception in 2009, Jeff guided the Foundation with vision and commitment, ensuring vital support for academic programs and enhanced learning opportunities for students across Joshua ISD. His legacy will continue to inspire the mission to endow, enhance, and support educational excellence in the district.

The Board recognized members of Joshua High School’s Navy Junior ROTC program for representing Joshua High School by volunteering at a special event hosted by the Outdoor Dream Foundation, an organization that provides once-in-a-lifetime opportunities for terminally ill children. The cadets recognized were Korbin Bowman, Brody Motley and Ethan Henry.
