At the Region I-5A Meet, the Owls Cross Country squads showcased their determination and talent!

On the boys' side, Brayden Picchi shone brightly, finishing 13th overall and earning a spot in the 5A State meet! Picchi becomes only the second male Owl runner to qualify for the State meet, following Nathan Ford’s qualification in 2020. The team secured 10th overall, marking the second-best Regional finish in the school's history.

The girls' team saw Lyndie Freeman finish 52nd and Rhyan Dollar-Daugherty come in 63rd.

The State contest is scheduled for 11:25 a.m. on Saturday, November 2, at  Old Settler's Park in Round Rock.
