Congratulations to the nine Joshua High School student-athletes who represented JISD at the State Powerlifting meets over Spring Break!

Girls results:
• Maddi Valles finished 5th place and THSWPA College Scholarship recipient
• Yaretzy Morales finished 6th place 
• Jazmyne Brown finished 15th place

Boys results:
• Javier Pena - 5th
• Mikey Duran - 6th 
• Samit Jackson - 11th
• Noah Newman - 11th
• Marquize Wilson - 13th and 2nd heaviest bench press in his weight class at 575 pounds
• Colin Leeman finished 18th
