Four Joshua High School Policy Debate (CX) pairs earned top-five spots to win the District 8-5A Championship!

In an exciting competition, Tobias Hollmann and Presley Noojin claimed the top spot, while Jacob Peña and Austin Rees secured a strong second place. Both teams will proudly represent JISD at the UIL State Tournament in March. Adding to the accolades, Peña was honored as the event's Top Speaker. The duo of Logan Breedlove and Steven Moore achieved third place and will serve as State alternates. Brynlyn Carroll and Avery Miller also shone brightly, earning fifth place.
