The Joshua High School Cross Country team delivered an outstanding performance at the District 8-5A meet!
The varsity boys runners finished 2nd as a team and earned a spot at the Region I-5A Meet! Individually, Brayden Picchi claimed 2nd place.
The varsity girls also performed well, finishing 4th as a team, with Rhyan Dollar-Daugherty placing 6th and Lyndie Freeman placing 9th. Both earned a spot at Regionals as individuals!
The junior varsity boys team dominated, with five runners in the Top 10 and winning 1st place! Braeden Quinonez finished 1st, while David Lopez took 2nd and Jayden Torres, Jake Payne 9th and Maddix Villanueva were 8th, 9th and 10th.
The JV girls secured a 2nd place team finish, with standout individual performances from Ella Creach, who finished 9th, and Alli Harmond, who finished 10th.
The Region I-5A Meet is Tuesday, October 22, at Lubbock's Mae Simmons Park. The girl's race begins at noon, and the boys' race starts at 12:30 p.m.
