Joshua High School Academic UIL students capped off their competitive year with a highly successful 5A State Meet, including a State Champion!
After placing first in a majority of the competitions he competed in this year, Senior Jaxon Dial earned the individual title in Computer Science! Jaedon Cox also finished in the top 10, with a performance that garnered him 6th-place honors.
The Computer Science team placed 4th! The team was unstoppable this year, winning eight straight contests, including the Regional event. They were the first JHS Computer Science team to advance to State.
Rehder Myhre brought home a 3rd-place medal in the Current Issues and Events competition. Brianna Schooler represented JHS in the Ready Writing contest.
